Opscode supports CloudCampHaiti – Jan 20, 2010

logo_cloudcampCloudCamp Haiti is a virtual unconference held as a public webinar. CloudCamp Haiti builds upon the popular CloudCamp format by providing a free and open place for the introduction and advancement of cloud computing. For this event, we are raising funds to donate to the aid effort in Haiti. Funds will be donated directly to the Red Cross efforts in Haiti. (Bonus: CloudCampHaiti is organized by Opscode’s own John Willis! Nice work John!)

CloudCamp is an unconference where early adopters of Cloud Computing technologies exchange ideas. With the rapid change occurring in the industry, we need a place where we can meet to share our experiences, challenges and solutions. At CloudCamp, you are encouraged to share your thoughts in several open discussions, as we strive for the advancement of Cloud Computing. End users, IT professionals and vendors are all encouraged to participate.

This very special CloudCamp will use an online meeting format to allow people to exchange ideas, knowledge and information in a creative and supporting environment, advancing the current state of cloud computing and related technologies.

Date/Time: Jan 20th 11:00am – 2:30pm Eastern Standard Time (EST)
