Chef brings DevOps to Cisco Live

Cisco LiveThis week the Chef team is at Cisco’s biggest customer event of the year, Cisco Live in San Diego! We’ve joined 20,000+ attendees to learn more about Cisco’s products and roadmap and to meet with users, operators and developers who are interested in how Chef and Cisco are working together. At ChefConf we announced that Chef and Cisco are building native support for the Cisco NX-OS and IOS-XR platforms providing seamless automation capabilities for a wide range of Cisco switches. We’ll have more details on those efforts as well as how Chef works with other Cisco products.

We will be in the DevOps Pod in the DevNet Zone on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. On Tuesday Matt Ray will be presenting Network Infrastructure as Code with Chef and Cisco. In this session he’ll discuss Chef’s approach to automating network devices and the existing and potential Chef and Cisco integrations.

We’re looking forward to this week at Cisco Live, so if you’re there please stop by let’s talk about Chef, DevOps and automating infrastructure of every sort.
