Bay Area Erlang Factory 2012

Opscode loves Erlang and we’re not afraid to show it! Myself and several Opscode engineers will be attending Erlang Factory to talk about Erlang, distributed systems, web programming, and just hang out with the generally awesome Erlang community.

Seth Falcon, Development Lead of the Opscode East Engineering team, will discuss porting Chef’s REST API to Erlang, doing live migrations with zero downtime, and lessons learned using webmachine on large projects. If you enjoyed the talk Chris Brown and I gave at last year’s Chef Summit you’ll really like Seth’s presentation.

Register now if you haven’t already! Erlang Factory is a great technical conference with excellent content, speakers, and community. Use discount code “SF2012Opscode” to get a 15% off the price of standard registration.

See you there!
